French toy manufacturer, Berchet, asked Izbickas to create a stronger presence for its Timiny brand of dolls and accessories in the highly competitive U.S. doll market.
The objective for Izbickas was to re-brand the packaging to fit in to the American vernacular and create a versatile packaging system which could be used for a variety of product configurations.
Edmund Izbickas says, "The new packaging is a departure from the French nationalistic look that had been developed for the European market. The hand-painted free form background pattern evokes a feeling of pastel flowers appealing to the intended audience of girls ages three and up. Playful typography unifies the boxes and photography of the products in interactive groupings promotes cross-selling of the line."
The re-branding resulted in a cohesive system which has been applied to over two dozen different products.
